LCL CONSOLIDATION

The process of LCL consolidation involves the movement of “less than container load” cargo from an Inland Container Depot to a nominated hub terminal under a customs seal; usually in a domestic container. At the terminal, sealed containers are opened and the cargo re-worked on a destination basis without re-examination by customs. Indian Customs have permitted the reworking of LCL boxes in certain nominated hub terminals, usually located at city ports.

The movement of LCL shipment by sea and air needs close monitoring and care for secure, scheduled delivery; which our experienced team and global agents effectively handle.
